Hvar, che per i Veneziani si chiamava Lesina, ha una superficie di trecento chilometri quadri. Le lunghe dominazioni Croate, Veneziane, Ungheresi, Francesi e Austriache si possono riscontrare pienamente nelle architetture del centro storico. Oggi è un'isola della Dalmazia, meta di un turismo alla ricerca di posti tranquilli e caratteristici. La subacquea è ancora poco praticata e di conseguenza, considerato il poco disturbo, le immersioni sono fantastiche e naturalisticamente importanti ........
