Chiunque arrivi a Chioggia non potrà che farsi coinvolgere dalla romantica atmosfera delle calli e  dei ponti, dai sontuosi palazzi del settecento, dai  colori e dalla pittoresca accoglienza della sua gente. Chioggia è una città nell'acqua, circondata dalla laguna e dal mare, il mare dell'alto Adriatico. Proprio tra queste acque è  custodito come in uno scrigno uno tra gli spettacoli più belli la natura possa offrire: le Tegnue.
